The Quality HSE and OPEX Manager is responsible for managing the quality and operational excellence team in support of the execution of the Electrification Solutions projects. The Solutions projects account for >500M of annual revenues and require constant factory and supplier quality monitoring and issue resolution. He/she additionally holds the responsibility to develop and implement Quality and OPEX execution strategy and tactics adhering to organizational objectives business project performance and adapt the business operational processes and process behavior to assure sustained customer positive experience while driving quality as its output.
This role is pivotal for the organization in driving project quality and operational excellence to success while supporting project management and business management in de-risking current and future incoming business.
This is a hybrid position in Houston TX.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in the United States.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Electrification provides leading electrical distribution and management technologies solutions and services to electrify the world in a safe smart and sustainable way. The portfolio includes medium- and low-voltage electrical components switchgear digital devices enclosures and circuit breakers among others. With our products solutions and services we collaborate with customers to improve power delivery and security enhance energy management efficiency and operational reliability as we seek to achieve a low carbon society. ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Vacation is provided based on years of service for hourly and non-exempt positions. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.
While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicants qualifications and experience this position is expected to pay between $116200 and $215800 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
