JOB DESCRIPTION:
Abbott Nutrition Casa Grande AZ is seeing a Maintenance Specialist / Election for our RPB line. The role of this position is to maintain all necessary mechanical equipment for the safe operation of related equipment.
Controls Technician - Maintain repair and service facility systems.

This position works out of our Casa Grande Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What Youll Work On
Perform repairs and troubleshoot high speed equipment and plantutility systems; make machine adjustments to case packers palletizers sleevers labelers and other equipment for proper operation
Troubleshoot and repair/replacevariable frequency drives(VFDs) vision systems and barcode scanners video-jet ink printers computercontrol systems
Install various components including: seals bushings couplings bearings O-rings gaskets adhesives belts chains rollers sprockets gears and sheaves cylinders etc.
Wire and repair/replaceelectric motors; repair basicwiring install/replace correct size fuses troubleshoot motor overload protection and contactors
Useelectrical toolssuch as Multi-meter and Megger
Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting problems with ACdrive systemsandPLCs
Knowledge of Allen Bradleyhardwareincluding but not limited to VFDs and PLCs
Ability to makeemergency repairswithweldingandfabricatingbrackets
Use guidelines within National Electric Code (NEC); readelectrical schematicsand wire directly fromwiring diagrams
Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting problems with ACdrive systemsandPLCs. Be able to access and interpret PLC logic via a laptop computer or desktop station. Properly maintaining a PLC requires the understanding of thewiringschematics.
Accountable for maintaining various hand tools and equipment; drills wrenches micrometers calipers torches welderslathe mill multimeter grinders bandsaw etc.
Follow all plant and department procedures GMPs and plant safety rules. Keep all work areas clean by following5Sprotocol.
Follow allmaintenancesafety procedures;LOTO
Youll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Please note: This is a 12-hour Day shift position from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and allows you to have every other weekend off.

Required Qualifications
Technical Diploma ( 12 years)
Experience : Minimum 1 year
