Senior Engineer Test (with Python)
The Opportunity
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior Engineer- Test at Bangalore Pune and Hyderabad locations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude towards testing and automating the testing efforts. This role also includes developing test strategies drawing up test documents identifying faults and reviewing QA reports.
What youll do
- Reviews and validates requirements and technical specifications
- Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization
- Documents results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality
- Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)
- Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization
- Supports designs develops and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes
- Manages testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines
- Mentors and provides training assistance to Associate QA Engineers
- Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
Who you are
- Bachelors degree required.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud administration
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude towards testing and finding issues
- Hands-on experience with both Windows and Unix operating systems
- Strong understanding of clustering and networking
- Experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills such as Python Selenium C# JavaScript CPP Ansible or Terraform
- Scripting skills particularly in Python for automating tests
- Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred.
