Human Resources Generalist
Permanent Full-time Opportunity

- Support full-cycle recruitment process including job postings resume screening interviewing reference checks offer preparation
- Manage end-to-end onboarding processes maintain employee files and employment records administer Group Benefits and RRSP enrollments/updates and support performance management and return-to-work plans.
- Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies procedures and employment standards.
- Assist with WSIB claims Employment Equity and Pay Equity programs and ensure accurate HR documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Support the administration and communication of benefit programs and employee engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to health & safety initiatives and maintain relevant records.
- Work with employees and leadership to solve employee relations issues and concerns including conducting investigations managing conflict etc.
- Support HR projects and process improvements under the guidance of the HR Director.
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field (Industrial Relations/Psychology and/or Business Administration Finance or equivalent)
- CHRP designation or working toward designation is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years HR generalist experience preferably in aviation healthcare or a regulated industry.
- Solid understanding of employment standards occupational health & safety legislation and HR best practices.
- Other related certifications in specialized areas of human resources are an asset.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g. Humi or similar) and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Required to obtain and maintain satisfactory CPIC (Criminal Record Check).
- Required to possess and maintain valid Class G drivers license with a clean driving record and access to private vehicle.
- Must be willing to relocate to Sioux Lookout and travel from time to time to other base locations in St. Andrews Manitoba; Kitchener and Thunder Bay Ontario
