Business Systems Analyst
Responsibilities:
The Business Systems Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to manage and optimize business applications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design business application functionality
- Define business requirements and functional specifications
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely high-quality delivery
- Lead user acceptance testing by creating and executing test plans and documenting outcomes
- Administer business applications including user access and configuration
- Identify troubleshoot and resolve bugs or defects
- Document systems and associated business processes
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a business systems analyst role or formal education in business systems analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proven experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
- Insurance industry knowledge (preferred)
- Bachelor s degree (preferred)
- Experience with tools such as Firelight (e-apps) Surancebay (agent onboarding) and Imagisoft (illustrations) is a plus
