Job Description
Title: Electrical Designer
Location- Mesa AZ
Type: Long term Contract
JD:
- Create accurate electrical layouts schematics and wiring diagrams for various systems.
- Develop and maintain design documentation including bills of materials (BOMs) and electrical specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and ensure all designs comply with applicable codes standards and product requirements.
- Support the manufacturing and installation process by providing technical guidance and resolving design-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering production and quality to ensure seamless project execution.
- Analyze existing designs for potential issues and propose effective solutions to optimize safety performance and manufacturability.
Required skills and qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical Design/Drafting Vocational or Equivalent experience. (Bachelors degree in electrical engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and drafting preferably related to HVAC or industrial products.
- Proficiency in CAD/Solidworks software for electrical design.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g. NEC IEC).
- Ability to perform electrical load calculation and component selection.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail with a methodical and precise approach to design and documentation.
