Job Description
Position: RN Womens Services Nights
Location: Lander WY 82520
Duration: 13 Weeks
Timings : 7.00PM 7.00 AM
Pay : $60/hr to $69/hr
Position Description
Performs plan of care intervention including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments as well as other medical care treatment. Appropriately assesses plans implements and evaluate patient care. Monitors records and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team physician patient and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living including personal hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care including patient transfer discharge referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age culture condition and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Circulates during C/Sections attends deliveries assisting the physician as needed. Follows appropriate policies during the recovery and care of surgical patients. Attends the neonatal station in the C/Section suite and completely assesses the neonate post delivery. Attends fetal monitoring certification classes every two years. Attends S T A B L E certification class if offered is NRP certified. Able to identify necessary information to be communicated to physicians and patients.
Facility Requirements:
- Must have ACLS BLS NRP STABLE & AWHONN certifications; must be attached to submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
- Must have WY RN or RN compact license license must be attached to resume
- Must have 2 years recent RN Level 1 Nursery Postpartum OB/GYN & L&D/LDRP experience
- This can include taking care of OB/GYN patients (post-op hysterectomy) Antepartum care Triage care Labor and Delivery care and Postpartum
- Candidate may be required to float to another unit depending on facility census. This will only be as helping hands or as sitter
- SageWest coversheet must be attached to the submission
- Guaranteed hours will be 48 with OT on the 49th hour
