Job Description

The Compliance Manager oversees the companys adherence to gaming product compliance requirements across North American and select global markets. This role ensures that all gaming products meet jurisdictional technical standards regulatory guidelines and submission requirements. The Compliance Manager will serve as a liaison between internal teams independent test labs and regulatory bodies to support efficient product certification and market entry.


Duties/Responsibilities

Interpret and operationalize gaming product regulations and technical standards across multiple jurisdictions.

Engage directly with regulators independent test labs and operator compliance teams to support product submissions and regulatory communications.

Review product requirements architecture and scope to confirm alignment with jurisdictional compliance requirements as defined by the commercial team.

Manage product documentation submission packages and approval workflows based on jurisdictional mandates.

Track publish and follow up on regulatory communications notices pending responses and deadlines related to product compliance.

Collaborate closely with the legal team and operate under its supervision on matters requiring regulatory interpretation or legal support.

Maintain accurate records of product certifications and test reports.

Develop standardized processes and documentation to support efficient regulatory submissions.

Monitor regulatory updates specific to products and communicate relevant changes to internal teams.

Promote a proactive compliance culture within cross-functional teams including product and engineering.


Skills/Abilities

In-depth knowledge of product compliance and gaming industry regulations.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication with experience in regulatory or technical audiences.

Highly organized and able to manage multiple regulatory timelines and submissions.

Familiarity with compliance tracking systems and tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Smartsheet).

Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in business Legal Studies Regulatory Affairs or a related field required; masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CRCM CCEP) preferred.

Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a compliance regulatory or certification environment with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Prior experience working with certification labs such as Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) or similar bodies is highly preferred.

In-depth understanding of gaming regulatory requirements across North America and familiarity with select global jurisdictions.

Demonstrated success in developing and implementing compliance policies and programs.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or computer station.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds such as equipment or office supplies with or without assistance.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills such as typing using office equipment conducting hardware testing or operating a computer.
  • Ability to travel for customer service and business needs or site visits which may involve extended periods of sitting standing walking lifting pulling and/or pushing.
  • Ability to participate in in-person meetings and presentations including standing or moving about a room.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment and at customer locations with varying noise levels and demands.

Total Rewards

$110000 - $135000 USD annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location job function of the position education and experience of the selected candidate. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as business results.
