Primary Responsibilities
Prepare and Review complex Individual and Business tax returns and projections for local and nationwide business owners and high net worth clients.
Collaborate with tax business advisory team and financial advisors to create integrated planning opportunities for small to medium size business owners and high net worth clients.
Research analyze and resolve a wide range of tax issues.
Communicate with clients to request data respond to questions and participate in client meetings as a support role for the lead advisor.
Assisting with the creation of presentations discussing tax planning opportunities for clients.
Analyzing various business structures and their tax implications to help provide comprehensive tax services.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelors Degree with concentration in accounting or related field -required
3 tax seasons in public accounting -required
Experience using Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite (UltraTax) - preferred
Master at Microsoft Excel providing clear outputs for analysis and comprehension - preferred
Be a strong team player providing superior service for all that we do taking complete ownership of even the smallest task
Keen consistent attention to detail
Proven ability to independently analytically solve issues both proactively and reactively
Effective at managing various projects and taking them to completion by firm deadlines
Adaptable to evolving processes
Client-centric mindset
Familiarity with basic accounting principles financial statements and bookkeeping methods
The ability to clearly explain complex tax concepts to clients and communicate effectively with tax authorities
The capacity to analyze financial situations identify potential issues and develop solutions.
