Job Description
One of our valued manufacturing partners is looking for a business development professional to join their team.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Professional:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive business growth.
- Meet with customers regularly to provide business solutions and technical support.
- Learn from internal departments (engineering estimating customer service) to fully understand the companys systems and product offerings.
- Present and discuss electroplating services and capabilities with current and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Maintain contact with key partners and decision-makers.
- Travel as needed to support territory and client needs (Chicagoland area & Indiana).
What You Bring as the Business Development Professional:
- Bachelors degree required
- Experience in sales or customer-facing roles preferably in manufacturing or technical industries.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
- Ability to learn technical product information and speak confidently about services.
- Moderate travel availability.
- Self-starter with strong negotiation and closing skills.
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday Friday Full-Time Direct Hire
- Base Salary:$80000/year
- Pluscommission for new business development
