Full-Time Direct Hire Field Service Engineerwith SPS and PLC programming experience. The successful Field Service Engineer will drive excellence in customer satisfaction enjoy troubleshooting and setting up complex systems and have a passion for learning new technologies. You will commission troubleshoot service and perform preventative maintenance on automated plasma work cells. Additionally you will repair and/or refurbish systems and sub-systems for other atmospheric and/or vacuum plasma technology systems.

Schedule and Location:Standard schedule with up to 20% domestic travel.
Pay Rate:Up to $120K depending on experience.
Principal duties and responsibilities will be:- Maintain and repair robotic automation equipment.
- Equipment on-site commissioning installation and qualification testing maintenance trouble shooting and calibration services.
- Work under strict occupational safety and health standards (OSHA NPFA).
- Assist maintaining organization of materials customer spare/repair parts equipment builds.
- Identifying tools and resources necessary for completion of tasks.
- Training customers in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Telephone email and in-person technical support.
- Create clear concise and complete commissioning procedures & troubleshooting documentation.
- Writing/editing templates operating procedures and manuals.
- Coordinate with cross-functional work teams such as field applications support and services product management manufacturing and marketing or sales.
Requirements:- Associate degree in electro-mechanical electrical or electronic discipline or equivalent military training.
- 5 years experience in field service or similar position.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and assembly drawings.
- SPS/PLC experience
- Wiring diagrams/schematics
- Troubleshooting
- KUKA/Fanuc or equivalent robot experience
- Experience with factory automation or electronics devices production.
- Experience in programming PLCs and HMIs.
- Must have a valid passport and drivers license.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
- Must be able to pass customers site requirements.
