Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator of Admissions and Advising for the Department of Music.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate logistical aspects of student auditions including scheduling communication and results tracking.
Collaborate with faculty and the department chair on audition evaluation procedures and admissions processing.
Coordinate placement and logistics for student internships
Serve as an important point of contact for prospective students and families; assist with recruiting events campus visits and outreach.
Advise undergraduate and graduate music majors in coordination with faculty and university advisors assisting with registration academic planning and the path to graduation.
Maintain advising and audition databases; assist with data tracking for assessment and accreditation purposes.
Support departmental scholarship processes student communications and orientation events.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Masters degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or bachelors degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.Salary:
