Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Music to join an Ofsted Outstanding mixed secondary school in Somerset. The successful candidate will teach Music across KS3KS5 delivering inspiring lessons that nurture creativity technical ability and performance skills. Key Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging and high-quality Music lessons across KS3KS5.

  • Inspire students to develop confidence in performance composition and music theory.

  • Track and assess student progress providing clear feedback and support.

  • Contribute to the continued development of a broad and ambitious Music curriculum.

  • Support enrichment activities such as choirs ensembles school concerts and productions.

  • Maintain high expectations of student participation behaviour and achievement.

  • A degree in Music or a closely related subject.
