Job Description
Position Summary:
Milacron is looking for a Machine Assembler to join our team in Batavia OH. As a Machine Assembler you will Build machines equipment and their subassemblies and following the mechanical layout and the general assembly layouts and other written and verbal specification.
Work Youll Do:
- Uses necessary prints/drawings tools and specifications to build/assemble machines equipment and subassemblies following all quality and safety standards.
- Reports labor hours correctly and in a timely manner.
- Practices good communication and interacts professionally with others in the plant
- Produces quality work in the time frame that consistently meets or exceeds set expectations.
- Operates overhead cranes and any other equipment needed to move large machine parts or to complete the job.
- Complete lockout / Tag out on down machines as necessary.
- Adheres to the 5-S standards in the work area keeping areas clean uncluttered safe and well organized.
- Communicates any discrepancies or errors on prints materials lists etc.
- Interacts with the teams on other shifts to obtain positive results on productivity and quality.
Team:
This role will be part of the Injection Main Assembly team.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
- Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations priority changes or new assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
