ECLC Front Desk Administrative Aide

Reports To: Early Childhood Learning Center Director

Status: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. following the school schedule

Start Date: August 2025

Job Summary: Serve as the Face of CHCA front office for the Blake Lindner Thompson Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Face of CHCA front office as receptionist in this support role for the ECLC
  • Greet incoming students families and visitors in a friendly warm and welcoming way
  • Greet incoming visitors answering phone calls assisting constituencies capably and with professionalism
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Assure daily attendance completion by staff. Record all tardies illnesses and incoming and departing students. Calls parents with any questions related to attendance
  • Responsible for typing copying and maintaining yearly correspondence
  • Must be able to operate a computer comfortable with technology using multiple software packages as required
  • Keep class lists and student records up-to-date
  • Process new student records by setting up files and cumulative records
  • Manage and regularly update child and family information within Brightwheel
  • Generate and analyze reports using Veracross
  • Create files for school operations
  • Organize offices and supply closet
  • Maintain security by making sure that everyone entering signs in and wears visitor badge
  • Communicate messages from parents to students teachers and staff
  • Answer or find answers for all inquiring parents faculty staff teachers and students
  • Keep working environment neat and clean
  • Prepare and assure delivery of carpool at the end of the day
  • Complete other assignments requested by Principal Faculty Business Office and/or Head of Schools Office
  • Sub in as ECLC Aide when needed
  • Support CHCA faculty and staff in various duties as well working cooperatively and constructively with others

Job Requirements:

  • Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Able to resolve conflicts using the Matthew 18 principles
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications - Word Outlook Excel
  • Must be a professing Christian comfortable in a denominationally diverse community

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
