The Associate Specialist SRA supports the function in the areas of global raw material compliance regulatory data management and process optimization to unlock value and efficiency. This position partners externally with Mars suppliers and internally with Product Development Digital Technology Commercial Legal SQA Activity Management teams to provide regulatory support to enable innovation. The Associate Specialist supports SRAs mission and vision to transform our compliance operating model consisting of harmonized processes global data governance and automation to modernize how we ensure compliance and enable growth.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in nutrition biochemistry food science chemical engineering or equivalent
1-2 years experience in regulatory compliance at a food beverage or consumer products company (preferably with raw material compliance and specifications experience)
Systems and data management experience- data analytics software product lifecycle management tools and specification management systems
Skilled in project and time management with ability to plan ahead
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Supports Mars Wrigleys global raw material review process by working directly with suppliers across the globe to obtain regulatory information and documentation to ensure compliance in Mars Wrigleys products worldwide
Ensures precise and accurate data entry/data management of high-risk regulatory information in Marss suite of product lifecycle systems- regulatory information includes nutrition ingredient composition claims suitability lifestyle suitability food additive compliance allergen labelling; ensures consistency with supplier input across attributes
Develops expertise in regulatory compliance for a wide range of international markets to support long-term SRA strategic initiatives for automation
Enables regulatory change management by performing key ingredient searches in product lifecycle systems for business impact assessment
Supports the continuous improvement of compliance operations with a focus on automation and AI to unlock value across Mars enterprise
