Job Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
To minister to the spiritual social emotional cognitive and physical needs of the homeless individuals seeking emergency shelter from the Rockford Rescue Mission Ministries. To implement program policies and procedures. To provide assistance encouragement motivation and direction to all crisis guests. To monitor safety and security of Womens Crisis guests visitors and volunteers. To maintain a non-threatening drug and alcohol-free environment.

GENERAL DUTIES:
MONITOR THE DELIVERY OF SERVICES TO CRISIS CLIENTS
CLERICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Must demonstrate compassion toward the poor needy and homeless.
1. Must manifest Christian character traits of integrity trustworthiness responsibility etc.
2. Must display respect gentleness and accountability when interacting with the crisis guests.
3. Must be teachable and function as a team player willing to resolve conflicts with others in the appropriate and acceptable manner.
4. Must use good judgment.
5. Must be punctual.
6. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
7. Must engage in safe and healthy work practices both on the premises and off-site facilities. Must take an active part ensuring the safety health and well-being of all of our staff volunteers and Mission guests.
8. J03 license required within 90 days of hire.
