Director Human Resource Advisory

Overview
The Advisory Human Capital Leader (the Leader) will be responsible for all human capital - related activities driving the success by aligning the people strategy with the objectives of the business model. The Leader will be working closely with the leadership team to create an environment that produces high quality work maintains motivation and achieves retention goals under a contribute-and-stay model.


Strategic & Technical Orientation / Job Content:


Involved in all aspects of business including interface with market leadership and engagement partners.
Deep understanding of all aspects of human capital (HC) strategic and operational priorities of the Advisory business as well as the integration of the HR function with the client teams Finance and other related functions.
Provide thought leadership in all areas of human capital and high performing teams including bringing creative solutions to strategic business and project needs.
Develops communicates and executes the people strategy for the business.
Lead all aspects of developing high performing teams including human capital communications team building and working protocols.
Be a strategic business advisor on HR and people issues; provide effective people management guidance coaching and tools to assist practice leaders in developing and retaining their staff.
Plan monitor and provide support and guidance for the execution of annual performance management processes including: development planning periodic performance reviews the annual year-end cycle inclusive of promotion decisions and individual compensation reviews.
Facilitate talent management and development related programs. Provide guidance and
support the leadership with employment related issues including underperformer management counseling out and disciplinary action where required.
Drive continuous improvement by conducting human capital performance analyses against targeted metrics & determining actionable items.

Range of Impact:
High degree of independence and influence over the business partners and staff in the execution of HC strategy. This role has Firmwide impact with global implications. The Leader is expected to work effectively with senior leadership to establish and execute the activities that enable the behaviors structures systems and competencies required for the Firm to shift its operating model. This individual must have the viewpoint and experience to work with leaders in our business in ensuring effective operation of this model.


Job Description

Scope of responsibility:
This role will have a significant impact on how we run our operations and serve clients; development of new capabilities sourcing providers and practices; working with several other territories and cultures; and influencing a large-scale future impact on the Firm. The individual must be comfortable working with supporting and influencing the most senior levels of the Firm and maintain their support in successfully completing the transition. The Leader must have the ability to work independently and lead teams and will have the responsibility for the short-term people initiatives and the long- term development and retention of the staff.


Requirements
Education Level: MBA in HR
Experience Level: More than 15 years experience


Other Details:
Ability to influence change and work with senior leadership levels of the Firm in multiple countries
Broad understanding of impact and familiarity with the Advisory business/operating models including awareness of practice methodologies and familiarity with staffing approaches.
Significant experience working as part of global organization with responsibilities across multiple territories.
Demonstrated strong project management skills.
Ability to lead multiple projects including strong group facilitation and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and creative problem solving capabilities.
Ability to quickly develop positive relationships with senior leadership across PwC identify common goals between them and then facilitate the completion of common objectives.
