Job Description
Salary Up to 40000
Hours - Monday to Friday 35 hours per week 9:30am to 5:30pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break - with flexible hybrid working after probation
Holiday 20 days annual leave(excluding bank holidays).After 5 completed years service will be entitled to accrue an additional day per year of service from the start of the next holiday year up to a maximum of 5 additional days.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen at our Borehamwood office for a Senior Accountant.
As a Senior Accountant you will deliver exceptional client service and timely budget-conscious delivery of work. The role involves managing the preparation of accounts for a variety of clients including limited companies sole traders partnerships LLPs charities and groups.
Key responsibilities of aSenior Accountantwill include:
- producing accounts for clients (Limited companies sole traders partnerships LLLPs charities and groups)
- be the key contact for the client and ensure first class client service provided at all times
- ensuring that jobs are completed on time and within budget
- managing the outsourcing team to ensure they produce high quality work
- presenting the Partner with a complete set of accounts with minimal queries
- accounts package drafted (disclosures/letters/minutes/certificates etc)
- clear review points and put through adjustments to the accounts
- keep time records up to date on a day-to-day basis and complete timesheets
- liaise with tax department and deal with any queries raised
- keep technically up to date
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- ACA or ACCA qualified/part qualified with experience within an accountancy practice or Qualified by experience
- self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
- technically efficient in accounting
- embraces new technology
- a drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
- positive attitude
- confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
- strong communication skills are essential both verbal and written
