Job Description

Junior Insolvency Lawyer

Location: Toronto ON
Experience: 2 years

We are seeking a Junior Insolvency Lawyer to support a busy restructuring and insolvency practice within a multidisciplinary firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to gain hands-on experience in a complex and growing area of law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with corporate restructuring receivership and bankruptcy matters
  • Conduct legal research and prepare court materials
  • Support senior counsel in litigation files
  • Liaise with clients trustees and financial advisors

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in insolvency or commercial litigation
  • Strong legal research and drafting skills
  • Interest in insolvency and financial restructuring law
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
