Multi Skilled Engineer - Join Our Evesham based Engineering Team at The Compleat Food Group!

Our Engineering department is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Multiskilled Engineer to join our team in Evesham.

Reporting to the engineering Manager you will regularly maintain all equipment on site and respond to breakdowns to ensure a safe working environment and full production capacity at all times whilst complying with company policy and procedures.

Working Hours Location & Salary:

Shifts: There are 3 shifts which the suitable candidate will need to be willing rotate around depending on business needs:

Shift1: Monday -Friday: 6am - 3pm Shift 2: Monday-Friday: 10am - 7pm & Shift 3: Tuesday-Saturday: 8am - 5pm

Location:Evesham

Salary: 40000 - 55000 DOE

Key Accountabilities:

• Follow a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule for plant and equipment
• Ensure all tasks carried out within the PPM schedule are documented including activity repairs equipment status and the use of consumables and parts.
• Promptly respond to any plant or equipment breakdown or fault.
• Effectively communicate and escalate any fault damage or condition that cannot be rectified
• Carry out PPMs and repairs in a safe and hygienic manner as stated within the company rules
• Can do attitude be able to adapt parts to keep machinery running due to strict sell by dates

Skills and Qualifications:

• Will need to have a background as a multiskilled engineer within the food manufacturing industry
• Experience in a similar role
• Electrical qualification
• BOAS (boiler operation accreditation scheme) or relevant steam experience
• An eye for spotting faults and finding effective solutions
• Must be able to work independently and possess strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Proactive
• Good communication
• Reliable
• Prepared to muck in
