Q Center is looking for a Full Time HR Generalist to join our team!
Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources (HR) department including recruiting hiring onboarding orientation training employee relations and enforcing Q Center policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for responding to internal and external inquiries regarding employment policies and other HR related issues.
The schedule for this position is mainly first shift 8:30am-5pm
The rate for this position is $22.00/hour

Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required.
College coursework in related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
Physical Requirements
Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to traverse each department throughout the property.
Fundamental Requirements
Associate must at all times be attentive friendly helpful and courteous to all guests and fellow associates.
Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers associates and other departments.
Assist in preparing knowledge-based documents for training and development of associates.
Ensure training and compliance of all associates on Standard Operating Procedures Q Center policies technical tasks and risk management is achieved.
Operate all aspects of the department computer system including software maintenance report generation and analysis and simple programming.
Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring their attention.
Maintain a clean organized work area.
Ensure overall associate and guest satisfaction and safety is achieved.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Assist with managing the talent acquisition process including sourcing recruiting interviewing hiring and onboarding of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Assist with conducting or acquiring background checks drug screens and employment verifications.
Upload signed and acknowledged job descriptions; maintain accurate records for an transfer/promotions.
Assist in maintaining and updating HRIS database records and onboarding process along with paperwork for new hires.
Compile HRIS reports as needed.
Assist in tracking training and performance progress.
Assist in developing and conducting new hire orientation.
Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants.
Partner with local universities culinary schools and professional associations to establish a pipeline of talent.
Provide excellent service and support to associates.
Review track and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training continuing education; including safety training anti-harassment training professional licensure and certifications.
Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute Human Resources programs; including but not limited to disciplinary matters performance and talent management recognition and morale and training and development.
Maintain compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintain knowledge of trends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources talent management and employment law.
