As a leading authority in entertainment news MovieWeb publishes at a fast pace and is always seeking talented passionate contributors who can deliver compelling high-quality content on deadline.
Your Responsibilities
Self-publishnews articles daily across movie and television verticals
Monitor trending news cycles including casting announcements trailers release dates renewals/cancellations and celebrity updates
Ensure timely publication of relevant content aligned with SEO and engagement goals
Coordinate with editors and fellow writers to maintain consistent daily coverage
Contribute to news ideation sourcing and scheduling
Follow editorial and formatting guidelines rigorously
Available weekday mornings ideally 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST (weekend availability is a plus)

Experience and Skills
At least 12 years experience in digital journalism or online publishing
Ability to independently write and publish clean accurate news content on tight deadlines
Solid understanding of entertainment media and current pop culture trends
Familiarity with SEO and CMS tools
Knowledge of AP Style and adherence to in-house standards
Strong communication and time management skills
