POSITION SUMMARY:
The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) IT division seeks an IT Project Manager who is self-driven and thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment that operates on collaboration and partnership with all business stakeholders. The successful candidate will have extensive technical expertise and demonstrate previous experience and success in large enterprise-wide projects with an emphasis on implementing projects in Software Development Data Visualization and Vendor Management. This role requires a calm and composed individual with excellent listening skills capable of handling unexpected changes due to government policy shifts. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal consultation and provide innovative solutions under tight timelines.
Skills Required
Comprehensive knowledge of IT project management principles.
Comprehensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
Proficiency in Agile principles capable of applying them effectively for flexible and collaborative project execution.
Strong technical and solutioning acumen to address and adapt to frequent changes.
Proficient in mission goal task and resource definition translating objectives into actionable plans.
Experienced in efficient management of budgets and resources balancing financial considerations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills engaging stakeholders transparently.
Skilled at identifying and implementing process improvements for efficiency.
Proficient in conveying project updates and insights to stakeholders.
Strong ability to prioritize and plan effectively considering objectives and constraints.
Develop data strategies aligned with goals.
