Job Description
Operating Room RN Cardiovascular (Permanent Role)
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Clinical Judgment: Conduct accurate assessments prioritize patient/family needs and create adaptable care plans.
- Clinical Inquiry: Evaluate nursing practices support evidence-based changes and engage in quality improvement.
- Caring Practices: Maintain a safe therapeutic environment and manage emotional/physical patient needs.
- Response to Diversity: Respect and integrate cultural social and individual differences into care planning.
- Advocacy: Uphold patient rights advocate concerns and navigate ethical dilemmas.
- Learning Facilitation: Educate patients families and team members; promote health literacy and prevention.
- Partnership: Collaborate with team and community delegate tasks and ensure timely follow-up.
- Systems Thinking: Apply efficient problem-solving and manage resources responsibly.
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards medical terminology and best practices
- Understanding of laws rules accrediting bodies and hospital policies
- Familiar with medication administration and potential reactions
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Critical thinking and situational awareness
- Able to observe report and respond to changes in patient condition
- Competent with electronic medical records and general computer systems
- Education: BSN required
- Experience:
- 1 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.
- 1 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
- Must have Cardiovascular OR experience
- Certification:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire if not already certified
