Job Description
Location: Rosebud SD 57570
Weekly Pay Rate: $2200 - $2400; Depending on experience (negotiable)
Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to optimize image quality.
- Analyze sonographic images and provide preliminary technical impressions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers for accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report malfunctions as needed.
- Follow safety and infection control protocols.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of overall experience as a Sonography/Ultrasound Tech.
- At least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty.
- Certification:
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification is required.
