Position - Product Line Manager (Cable Management Systems)
Reporting to - Head Product Management
Experience - 12 Years
Job Location - Mumbai - Dombivali
Qualification - B.E/B-Tech (Electrical/Mechanical)
Product Line Growth - Develop and manage product line strategy aligned with company goals & drive the execution of the product roadmap. Oversee the Product Line Revenue is achieved as per the targets
- Manage product roadmaps prioritizing features and functionalities based on market demand and business priorities.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to retirement.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the overall business objectives and defining the product vision mission and value proposition.
New Product Development -
New Product Launch (Business Cases Converted to Products to monitor & Increase the Opportunity Value including Attributed Revenue or Dependent Value till the product release
Lead the new product development (NPD) process including requirements gathering business case Validation Approvals and launch.
Ensure that products are developed on time within budget and meet quality standards.
Focus Product Sales - Achieve Min 15% Focus Product Sales on respective Product Line revenue
Cost optimization & Value Engineering - Business case creation & conversion of VAVE. Ensuring close watch on Cost of Products to avoid any increase which may leads to margin erossion. Identifying the potential products for Value Engineering through Margin Erosion report Competition landscaping etc
Sales-PM Interactions -
1. Conduct minimum 15 technical Product & Application presentations in a year during Sales PM Meeting resulting atleast an overall Asessment score of 80%
2. Sales-PM CFT & Results - Technical Issues Product Line Growth Projects & Orders in Pipeline Deployment of Product Strategies Focus Products Mapping NPD Status & Status of Running List of open items
Average Selling Price -
Monitor product performance metrics (e.g. sales profitability market share customer satisfaction) and identify areas for improvement.
Ensuring close watch on Cost of Products to avoid any increase which may leads to margin erossion. Identifying the potential products for Value Engineering through Margin Erosion report Competition landscaping etc
Technical /Technological Competencies
Possesses in-depth understanding of product lines features and applications.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM).
Expertise in new product development (NPD) and the Stage Gate process.
Leading product launch activities ensuring timely execution and successful market introduction.
Ability to manage multiple product lines and prioritize competing demands.
Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis. Evaluates competitor products identifying strengths weaknesses and potential threats.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure product success.
Strong project management skills including risk management and timeline tracking.
Ability to analyze product performance and make data-driven decisions.
Technical knowledge of electrical components and their applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
