Role: Project Manager - Insurance Domain
Location : Warren NJ (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Job Responsibilities:
- Report status and progress metrics to internal and client stakeholders while clearly articulating project risks.
- Changes that affect the scope schedule and resources are identified managed and controlled with an integrated and cohesive plan.
- Manages critical projects customer engagements or business processes.
- Collaborate with testing team to ensure full testing is successfully performed -- including unit functional integration regression performance and user acceptance -- to project standards.
- Provides thought leadership guidance and advice in own field.
- Adapts communication techniques for audiences at multiple internal and external levels.
- Pro-active in managing all the details throughout the project to ensure that all action items are accomplished on a timely and accurate basis
- Prioritizes work so not only the most urgent work is completed but also the most important
- Articulate and active participant in client and internal meetings; can deliver instructions in a clear and concise manner providing proper materials and documentation when necessary
- Maintains a clear and reasonable vision of next steps and the big picture during meetings conversations or whenever the parameters of a project change
- Adapting to scope creep and change requests.
- Supports team on scope and schedule issues
- Conduct Weekly project meetings and produce daily/ weekly status reports
- Work with technical teams to resolve blocking issues to deliver on client requirements
- Cultivates develops and manages strong lasting customer relationships at the senior leadership level.
- Manages multiple medium to large projects or at least one complex project or program that require high levels of functional integration and some organizational change management
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience Insurance domain Policy Admin Claims Underwriting
- Minimum 8 years of experience as PM
- Strong Insurance Knowledge Policy Admin Claims Underwriting
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands on experience of scope & change management related issues
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is required
- Strong leadership and motivation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills including presentation skills
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
