Job Description
Job Title: Production Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Plan organize and control production activities to achieve daily weekly and monthly output targets.
Develop production schedules and allocate resources to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
Ensure adherence to quality standards safety regulations and company policies throughout the production process.
Monitor workflow identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to maximize productivity.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
Manage inventory levels raw material requirements and coordinate procurement to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Prepare and analyse production reports to track performance costs and efficiency metrics.
Lead train and motivate the production team to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Collaborate with quality control logistics and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Implement cost-control measures and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance profitability.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Production or Industrial Engineering (Master s Degree preferred).
Proven experience (7 10 years) as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership role in manufacturing or industrial production.
Strong knowledge of production planning resource allocation and workflow optimization.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
Excellent understanding of health safety and quality management standards.
Skills Required:
Leadership and team management skills to drive performance and engagement.
Strong problem-solving decision-making and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems and production management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Knowledge of budgeting cost control and production KPIs.
