Job Description
TPF Recruitment Kents leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood who are looking for a Senior Practice Accountant to join their experienced team in a general practice capacity across accounts management accounts bookkeeping and VAT. Our client is willing to build the position around the candidates experience and aspirations.
As a Senior Practice Accountant you will report directly into the partners and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of small business owners through to billionaires. You will be based in an amazing office in a rural location in Paddock Wood and also have the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. This is a great position with an excellent practice with a modern culture who promote a great work life balance. Full time or part time applicants will be considered.
You will be responsible for:
- Prepare and review annual statutory accounts corporation partnership and personal tax returns.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns.
- Managing your client portfolio and client relations.
- Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers.
- Onboard new clients and assist the partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation work as required.
Requirements
- You will be qualified or studying ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3-5 years experience within practice.
- You will have worked as a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts ideally management accounts tax and VAT.
Benefits
