Requirements
Role Summary:
The successful candidates will be responsible for designing developing and enhancing ETL processes using IBM DataStage 11.x. The role requires prior experience with migration projects strong troubleshooting abilities and a proactive mindset to identify and fix data-related issues. You will play a key role in building scalable data solutions and improving delivery and stability across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop robust ETL processes and enhancements using IBM DataStage (v11.x).
Perform detailed root cause analysis for data issues and production defects.
Participate in requirements gathering analysis design development testing and deployment of ETL processes.
Analyze and migrate existing ETL workflows to newer environments or platforms.
Automate manual data processes to improve stability and reduce operational overhead.
Work collaboratively within an Agile team to deliver high-quality data solutions aligned with business needs.
Support DataStage jobs and Unix scripts in production.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with job control tools (Control-M Autosys etc.)
Knowledge of cloud ETL/data warehousing solutions is a plus
Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git Jenkins etc.)
Familiarity with financial services or enterprise-scale environments
Soft Skills:
Collaborative team-oriented and open to feedback
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset
Ability to multitask and handle changing priorities effectively
