Coordinate and conduct customer meetings including telephone and remote correspondence to address technical queries and project updates.
Support Virtual Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with OEMs to ensure system functionality before shipment.
Provide installation assistance to shipbuilders particularly in the event of technical issues before OEM arrival.
Collaborate with the OEM Field Service Engineer (FSE) during Set to Work (STW) activities.
Conduct Pre-Site Acceptance Testing (pre-SAT) to validate readiness and system integrity before final testing.
Lead or support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) at the shipyard - often conducted independently without OEM presence (requires prior permission/documentation).
Bachelor s degree or diploma in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical Mechanical Marine Engineering etc..
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in marine systems automation or field engineering roles.
Strong understanding of FAT SAT STW processes and marine equipment commissioning.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real-time.
Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with customers shipbuilders and OEMs.
Self-motivated detail-oriented and capable of working independently in field conditions.
Willingness to travel as needed for on-site support.
