Service Center Technician/PLC
Direct opportunity
Rate: $25-27/hr
Hours: 6am-2:30pm M-F with occasional OT
West Chester OH
Responsibilities:
- Disassembly cleaning rebuilding/assembly wiring troubleshooting retrofitting and calibration ofcompanyequipmentin conformance with company standards and quality specifications.
- Interpret and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Troubleshoot to identify rootcauseof machine malfunctions.
- Fabrication skills including but not limited to metal cutting drilling and tapping welding .
- 5S activities (sort setinorder shine standardize sustain safety).
- Assist with other departments within the Service Center when required including but not limited to shipping receiving crating paint and machine teardown.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
- Industry related experience coupled withhighschooldiploma or GEDwill also be considered
- Mechanical assemblyexperience
- Electrical wiring experience
- PLC troubleshootingexperience
- Basic understanding of AC and DC circuits.
- Ability to use a multi-meter
-Use of hand tools and power tools (circular saw drill press pneumatic tools etc.)
- Basic electrical wiring skills practices and techniques.
-Ability to readblueprints electrical schematics and assembly drawings
-Ability to troubleshoot machinerywithPLCs
- Follow and apply all applicable safety requirement to comply with regulatory agencies
Adherence to OSHA and all safety standards and promote a safe workplace. Steel toe shoesrequired
-Be detailed oriented results driven andhave the ability toanalyze andproblem solve.
-Represent the company inpositiveand professional manner and work well in a team environment.
