About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community As a Parking and Compliance Services Officer at Cardinia Shire youll play a vital role in ensuring public safety accessibility and fairness across our growing municipality. This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives on variety community engagement and meaningful impact.

You will make an impact by

  • Conducting proactive and reactive parking patrols across the municipality.
  • Educating residents businesses and builders on Councils Local Laws and relevant legislation.
  • Investigating and enforcing breaches under various Acts and regulations.
  • Responding to community concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Supporting public safety through visible and consistent enforcement.

What you will bring

  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the Road Safety Road Rules 2017 and Domestic Animals Act 1994.
  • Experience in issuing infringements and preparing evidence for court proceedings.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills across field counter and phone interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • High attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours rosters and events.
