Are you passionate about gourmet food and delivering exceptional customer service Were looking for a hard-working positive individual to lead our Gourmet/Deli Team! This is a leadership role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact mentor team members and help drive the success of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the Deli/Gourmet team to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service
- Use your expertise in gourmet products to assist guests with selecting and pairing cheeses with wine beer and spirits
- Help guests curate personalized gift baskets with gourmet items
- Stay informed on trends and developments in gourmet foods and share insights with the team
- Oversee proper stock rotation ensure freshness and manage the removal of expired items
- Train and mentor team members fostering a positive and productive work environment

The starting hourly rate for this position is $20 per hour.
Requirements
- Passion for gourmet food including cheese wine and specialty items
- Proven customer service and communication skills with a focus on creating exceptional guest experiences
- Leadership experience or strong leadership potential in a retail or food service environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory scheduling and communication tasks
- High attention to detail and a proactive hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Reliable team player who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic setting
- Must be at least 18 years old
