Summary

The Rental Shop Apprentice is passionate about excellent customer service and is driven to provide the best experience possible for guests and fellow employees through fitting and return of rental ski and snowboard boots. He/she will be responsible for accurate fitting and sizing guest ski/snowboard boots while adhering to all safety procedures. The Rental Shop Apprentice will assist with other rental shop duties as the need arises. There will also be an education component to this position during the season there will be an expectation to participate in clinics and run their own clinic at the end of the season. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees with safety and fun as our top priorities.

Essential Functions

• Assist guests in determining what their needs are in relation to boots and helmets.
• Operates a computer with tech bench software.
• Assist with equipment return.
• Assist with organization of rental shop equipment.
• Assist with daily cleaning of rental shop workstations and exterior areas as needed.
• Assist with end of day rental agreement paperwork.
• Participate in apprenticeship learning opportunities and requirements.

• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• Ability to communicate clearly and calmly respectful and considerate to others.
• Written and oral communication in English required.
• Must be approved for participation in the apprenticeship program through CCCSD and LSA.

Physical Demands

• This position is regularly required to stand bend stoop lift and twist.
• This position will frequently be required to lift up to 25 lbs.
• This position will be required to assist in snow removal sweeping mopping and vacuuming.
