Job Description
About the Role:
As a Python developer youre expected to support existing functionalities by addressing historical issues and contributing towards tech debt. Youre also expected to build out new features that are part of the Development Roadmap.
What youll be doing:
1. Understand business requirements and identify the best approach to serve the requirements without risking the systems conceptual sanity.
2. Drive Implementation approach discussions by taking complete ownership of partially defined problems. Practice TDD and help us retain/improve our code coverage.
3. Optimise flows within systems for better performance in response times and memory consumption.
4. Tear down unused flows and concepts to make way for the new and evolved ones.
Bonus point if you have:
1. An understanding of design principles and accepted software design practices.
2. Experience building backend systems in JavaSpringBoot or PythonDJango.
Qualifications :
What are we looking for
1. Someone with at least 4 years of experience building backend systems using any of the following languages: Python(Django framework)
2. Someone who takes ownership of delivery thereby not only closing your own work but also identifying dependencies and making sure they follow the track towards completion.
3. Someone who can work both independently and in collaboration with the team as and when the situation demands for it.
4. Someone who is not averse to learning and growth and has an open mind about inputs/suggestions from any stakeholder.
Education Criteria :
B.E./ /BSc (Computer Science)
