Groundsperson - Defence - Townsville

Due to the constant expansion of our Defence division Downer has multiple Full-Time opportunity available for a Groundsperson to join the team located in Townsville

• Family friend roster Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:30 Friday 06:00-12:30
• Free parking uniforms PPE and land maintenance equipment are supplied.

• 2 locations - RAAF base (Garbutt) and Lavarack Barrack

ABOUT THE ROLE

• General Gardening: Mowing Brush cutting; Edging; Pruning; Weed pest and Disease control.
• These positions do not require any experience; you come with a willingness to learn and be part of an outstanding team.

ABOUT YOU

• Suitability for Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)
• Current full Drivers License (MR or Higher is highly regarded)
• Front end loader ticket highly regarded but not essential
• High level of understanding and commitment to Zero Harm in the Workplace
• Have resilience a can-do attitude and be adaptable.

**Please note as a prerequisite for this role candidates will be required to prove Australian Citizenship complete pre-employment medical check National Police check and reference checks.
