Job Description

The Financial Analyst will be an integral member of the finance team playing a key role in supporting business decision-making by providing insightful financial analysis forecasting and reporting. This role is responsible for compiling and interpreting financial data identifying trends and variances and preparing models to support budgeting forecasting and strategic planning efforts. This position will also collaborate across all business units to ensure financial accuracy optimize performance and drive business growth. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in monthly financial close processes: prepare journal entries consolidate results analyze variances and prepare reports and financial statements.

- Produce trend analyses and insight driven variance explanations to guide decision-making.

- Partner with accounting to ensure accurate period-end accruals and alignment of actuals with forecast assumptions.

- Assist in the preparation of executive level presentations and materials for Senior Leadership Board of Directors and PE firm.

- Prepare rolling forecasts and annual operating plans in collaboration with business unit leaders.

- Build maintain and update Excel-based planning tools and models ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.

- Support strategic finance initiatives perform scenario modeling and deliver business-impact assessments.

- Field ad hoc requests from leadership providing clear and timely financial insights.

- Contribute to continuous improvement projects that streamline FP&A processes and reporting cadence.

- Optimize data infrastructure and integration processes ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial data.

- Partner closely with operations and department leaders to account accurately for costs and process improvements.

- Assists with maintenance of financial information systems.

- Collaborate with external auditors and tax teams providing requested documentation and explanations.

- Assist in record keeping and financial controls.

- Protect the organizations value by keeping information secure and confidential.

- Understand and exemplify the practices branding culture mission and vision.

Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)

- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel PowerPoint.

- Proven experience sourcing and analyzing data from a variety of business intelligence (BI) tools.

- Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a strong plus.

- 2 - 6 years of professional experience in FP&A financial analysis or audit.

- Detail-oriented organized and capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen.

- Proven ability to develop complex financial models and perform sophisticated financial analysis to support decision-making.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear actionable insights for senior leadership.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment managing multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively

- Self-driven independent thinker.

- Private Equity and Healthcare experience is a plus.
