Location: Flexible working across the North West (Remote Home & Office-based)
Head Office: Preston UK (Free Onsite Parking)
Job Type: Full-time Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am5pm (Some evenings and weekends required)
Salary:per year (Dependent on experience)
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Supervising Social Worker to join its clients Fostering team based in Preston.
What will your responsibilities be
In this role you will:
- Supervise and support foster parents including induction and TSDS portfolio completion.
- Conduct Form F assessments and regular support visits.
- Facilitate monthly reflective sessions to enhance carers understanding of child development.
- Work directly with children to promote stability and positive outcomes.
- Identify training needs and develop Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
- Conduct unannounced visits health & safety checks and risk assessments.
- Present Annual Reviews to the Faith Fostering Panel.
- Prepare reports for LAC reviews and placement stability meetings.
- Respond to referrals match placements and liaise with local authorities.
- Participate in recruitment campaigns and assess foster carers ongoing suitability.
- Attend monthly reflective supervision with the Registered Manager.
- Ensure full compliance with safeguarding legislation and agency policies.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have:
- A degree in Social Work (Bachelors or Masters)
- Registration with Social Work England (SWE)
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience (preferred)
- Strong communication assessment and report-writing skills
- Knowledge of systemic and social learning theories
- Proficiency in digital record-keeping and documentation
