Job Description

POSTING NO. CYES.25-26.009 CAYOOSH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

1.0 FTE Term Certain Elementary Prep (Art/Library)

Commencing September 2 2025 to November 21 2025 or return of the teacher.

Cayoosh Elementary School enrols approximately 170 students in kindergarten through grade 7 of which 61% are of Indigenous ancestry. Cayoosh Elementary is located in the District of Lillooet which lies on the unceded and traditional territory of the Sttimc First Peoples. The schools Action Plan for Learning guides the work of the school.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful applicant must have or be eligible for certification to teach in British Columbia and possess:

The salary range for full-time teaching positions within Gold Trail School District is $60076 to $109 520 with placement in accordance with provisions in the Collective Agreement. The district offers a competitive benefits and pension
