ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Develop project takeoffs for weld count and materials.
- Develop bid packages for the materials required to fabricate the project and work with outside vendors to price materials and services.
- Coordination with QAQC Team to support our efforts and ensure drawing preparation.
- Develop pipe drawings and weld maps to include heat number tracing and welds.
- Coordination with Electrical structural and process engineering teams to ensure total package development
- Design hydrostatic tests and supervise testing to include maintenance of test gauge calibration.
- Maintain all required code paperwork for each project
- Be open and able to travel to project sites to assist in the startup of fabricated equipment.
- Prepare purchase orders to successful vendors.
- Review project plan and schedule changes; recommend actions to ensure the project stays on time and on budget while meeting client specifications.
- Ensure project compliance with appropriate government regulations safety rules and company and client policies.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree.
- Minimum 6 years experience.
- Working knowledge of construction industry codes and standards ASME/ANSI/API/NFPA/CSA codes (ASME B31.3 B31.4 B31.8 49 CFR 192 & 195) preferred but not required.
SALARY: $115000K - $140000K
