Staff 86 86 Group are working with a fantastic client whoare recruiting an experienced and driven General Manager to lead catering and hospitality operations at a large UK stadium.
- Job Title: General Manager
- Basic Salary: 50000
- Work Setup: On site
- Holidays: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Working Hours: As business requires. 40 hours per week.
- Reporting to: Stadium Managing Director
General Manager Stadium Catering & Hospitality
Overview:
We are recruiting an experienced and driven General Manager to lead catering and hospitality operations at a large UK stadium. This senior role is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage services across kiosks bars hospitality suites and kitchens ensuring outstanding service delivery operational efficiency and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage high-volume catering operations for match days events and premium hospitality.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences across General Admission and Premium areas.
- Recruit train and oversee a diverse team including chefs bar staff and event supervisors.
- Manage budgets control costs and maximise revenue through upselling and innovation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver against service-level agreements.
- Uphold strict compliance with health & safety food hygiene and safeguarding protocols.
- Act as Duty Manager as part of the operations rota when required.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a senior catering or hospitality management role within a stadium arena or large event-led venue.
- Strong financial management and commercial skills (budgeting forecasting P&L).
- Exceptional leadership and team development experience.
- Confident communicator with a customer-first mindset.
- In-depth knowledge of operational compliance including food safety and H&S.
- Must hold or be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
