Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full life cycle recruitment ranging from intern to senior level positions. This position will partner with hiring managers to define talent needs while facilitating the recruiting process from requisition through offer. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will engage active and passive candidates including building and maintaining a talent pipeline by proactively partnering with higher education institutions across the United States and Canada.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with full life cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions including job posting screening of candidates scheduling and conducting interviews and preparing extending and negotiating offers
Effectively partner with hiring managers to assess and define talent needs and job requirements to ensure that job postings and searches are targeted to attract highly qualified candidates
Leverage multiple talent acquisition resources and sourcing techniques to identify and engage candidates
Collaborate with Talent Development on initiatives and strategies for intern and entry level talent programs
Partner with colleges and universities to develop talent pipeline for entry-level positions
Represent DMA at career fairs across the United States and Canada to fill entry-level positions
Train and guide hiring managers on the DMA talent acquisition process
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with other areas of Human Resources to ensure achievement of department objectives

Education and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
2 years full life cycle talent acquisition experience
Prior university relations experience is preferred
Experience sourcing through Indeed LinkedIn and Handshake
HRIS and ATS experience required (Workday is a plus)
Strong relationship building and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication prioritization and multi-tasking skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of work and work independently or as a member of a team
Desire to be innovative with strong initiative
Strong problem solving skills
