Title: Accounts Payable Analyst III
Location: Northern VA or Remote USA
Summary
The Accounts Payable Analyst reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices managing payment cycles reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the organizations financial obligations are met efficiently supporting overall financial health and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Review verify and process invoices and payment requests in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place before processing payments.
Prepare and execute weekly/monthly payment runs (ACH wire transfers checks).
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice or payment issues.
Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes including accruals and reporting.
Monitor AP aging reports and ensure timely payments to avoid late fees or service disruptions.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanation of AP transactions.
Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time.
Education Experience and Skills
3-5 years experience in Accounts Payable
Oracle experience preferred
Bachelors degree preferred
Accurate and efficient data entry; attention to detail
Understanding of basic accounting concepts
Maintaining records and managing multiple tasks
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
$90500.00-121899.00 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates unique experience locale and business addition to a base salary and bonus plans Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO a 401k match and contribution to healthcare coverages.
