Job Description
As our new Field Sales Specialist for London you are a key member of our Laboratory Products team. You will be passionate about driving sales for Laboratory Products equipment and consumables into the Academic Government Healthcare and Industry markets. This is a field-based role with a territory covering London and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
- Focus on customers within the Academic Government Healthcare and Industry segmentswith a strong emphasis on life sciences applications.
- Achieve the Annual Operating Plan set for the territory.
- Strategically develop and grow laboratory equipment salesparticularly targeting life sciences research labs universities and biotech companies with the attachment of consumables.
- Collaborate closely with key distributorsemphasizing the importance of strong partnerships within the life sciences sector.
- Build and maintain relationships through regular face-to-face meetings with new and existing customersincluding life sciences researchers and laboratory managers.
- Use all routes to market including channel partners and e-commerce platformsto deliver solutions tailored to research needs.
- Conduct sales forecasting and anticipate pipeline changes enabling plans to address shortfalls.
- Use to ensure accurate customer records are held.
- Apply data intelligence to analyze and develop sales opportunities with the greatest return on investmentfocusing on life sciences market trends.
- Communicate key competitor activities market trends and changing customer development plans and prioritiesincluding emerging life sciences customers.
- Regularly provide written and verbal communication of successes and challenges to improve the overall operating efficiency of the team region and sales organization.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must live on territory or be able to relocate.
- Valid driving licence.
- Minimum requirement: BSc or equivalent experience within Life Sciences.
- Several years of validated sales success in thelife sciences market specifically targeting laboratory equipment and consumables.
- Proficient in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate experience leading sophisticated high-value accounts in a matrix environmentparticularly within the life sciences sector.
- A strong teammate with a consistent track record to coordinate activities and influence without authority.
- Strong capabilities to interface effectively with all customer and channel types.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Practical understanding of the sales processes and buying cyclewithin the life sciences industry.
- Ability to function effectively in a high-performance team.
- Demonstrate a positive demeanor and desire to succeed inlife sciences commercial settings.
- Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a constantly evolving business environment.
- Digital literacy in MS Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint MS Teams or similar programs required.
