We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Administrator to manage and coordinate all aspects of payroll processing and employee benefits administration for a workforce of 140 employees. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in ADP payroll systems benefits compliance and federal/state regulations. Experience working in automotive dealership payroll environments is highly preferred.

Process bi-weekly payroll for 140 employees using ADP payroll systems.
Verify and reconcile payroll data including timecards bonuses commissions and PTO.
Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll laws.
Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and annual reports (W-2s etc.).
Address employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate payroll records for auditing and compliance.
Administer benefits programs including health dental vision life insurance disability 401(k) and wellness plans.
Coordinate open enrollment plan renewals and new hire orientations.
Ensure proper deductions and contributions for all benefits.
Liaise with insurance brokers and benefits vendors.
Prepare ACA and 1095-C compliance reports.
Stay current with employment laws and benefit regulations (FLSA ACA HIPAA etc.).
Support internal and external audits with complete payroll and benefits documentation.
Generate periodic reports for HR and Finance leadership.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding related to payroll benefits and system setup.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
Support broader HR and finance initiatives as needed.
Prior payroll experience in an automotive dealership or multi-location retail/service business strongly preferred.
Familiarity with commission-based payroll structures and union/non-union environments is a plus.
2 5 years of payroll and benefits experience.
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar ADP platforms.
Solid knowledge of payroll laws and benefits compliance.
Strong Excel skills and HRIS experience.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
FPC CPP or CEBS certifications are a plus.
Bachelors degree in HR Accounting Business Administration or related field preferred.
