Were hiring an Accounting Manager to join our team at Flynn Hospitalitys corporate offices in Las Colinas. If youre passionate about hospitality driven by results and ready to lead with purpose we want to meet you.
What Youll Do
As the Accounting Manager youll lead day-to-day accounting operations while supporting the finance team with budgeting forecasting audit preparation and strategic initiatives. This role requires strong leadership financial acumen and a hands-on approach to full-cycle accounting operations.
You will:
- Oversee the general ledger month-end close process and preparation of accurate financial statements.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff; foster a culture of collaboration accountability and growth.
- Lead the preparation of balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts; collaborate with internal departments to support financial planning.
- Maintain compliance with local state and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Supervise accounts payable accounts receivable payroll processing bank reconciliations and licensing renewals.
- Serve as a strategic finance partner across departments to ensure alignment and fiscal responsibility.
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits including the collection of necessary documentation.
- Review internal accounting processes; identify and implement improvements and efficiencies.
- Build and deliver financial presentations dashboards and reporting tools for executive leadership.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required).
- Experience: 5 years of accounting experience including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Skills: Strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook and accounting software (e.g. Sage QuickBooks or similar ERP systems).
- Mindset: Detail-oriented deadline-driven and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
