Job Description
- Prepare estimates for reconstruction and emergency services using Xactimate or Symbility from 3D scans and provided scopes.
- Complete estimates within 24 hours of assignment while meeting client and company service standards.
- Use PDO QA for peer reviews to ensure estimate accuracy and compliance.
- Document and communicate change orders and insurance supplements as needed.
- Collaborate with clients project managers and adjusters to secure approvals.
- Ensure all projects meet or exceed minimum gross profit margin standards.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in Xactimate and/or Symbility (required).
- At least 1 year of experience in a trade craft or restoration-related position.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally over the phone and via video conferencing.
- Ability to work independently manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Industry certifications (Level 13 IICRC Lead) preferred.
- Strong technical and computer skills (iPhone iPad RMS MICA estimating platforms).
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Remote/home office environment.
- Less than 20% travel required; occasional visits to the originating office and annual company meetings.
