Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet the business sourcing objectives. Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to assess their capabilities reliability and quality standards. Negotiate contracts terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing payment terms and service level agreements. Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate closely with internal departments to understand their sourcing needs specifications and requirements. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers fostering partnerships based on trust reliability and mutual benefits. Lead supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with ethical standards legal regulations and industry best practices. Regularly review and analyze sourcing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Stay updated on industry trends market conditions and changes in regulations that may impact sourcing strategies.

Required qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering business administration or a related field is an additional advantage.
Proven 8 years of experience as a Sourcing Manager or in a similar sourcing role.
In-depth knowledge of sourcing strategies supplier management and procurement processes.
Strong understanding of contract laws regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is a plus.
Experience in the power transformer industry or sector relevant to the companys operations is preferred.
